The Lotus Bar is a classy establishment located in the Uptown neighborhood of Dallas. The Lotus Bar is known for it's upscale atmosphere, and features two bars, one inside and one on the outdoor patio. According the the website, The Lotus Bar features the upscale atmosphere of a "see and be seen" club, with the neighborhood appeal of the local pub.

That said, be sure to watch out for the valet parking. Normally, it's only $8, but if you forget to get your ticket validated by the bartenders inside, your valet service could end up costing you a whopping $100. You've been warned.

The Library Bar at the Melrose Hotel is a classy establishment offering almost nightly entertainment and drink specials.  The Library Bar underwent rennovations about a year ago, and is now more gorgeous than ever.  Besides having live jazz six nights a week, and great drink specials, there are complimentary wine tastings on the second Tuesday of every month.
